Chereen was born and raised in the high deserts of the Rocky Mountains where nature dominates and pristine mountains loom. Her work reflects her love of nature and vibrant color.
She received a Bachelors Degree in Art from Arizona State University. She is a member of Arizona Watercolor Association and is a charter member of First Thursday Art group. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and juried art shows. She has also studied under some great artists including Betsy Dillard Stroud, Dick Phillips, and Ted Nuttall.
Chereen currently works in transparent watercolor but enjoys experimenting with new techniques, materials and methods.
